January 26, 2020 | 4:30-6:30PM at The Schwartz Center for Performing Arts
For DanceATL’s second Potluck Mixer, folks gathered together to celebrate a new decade.
For the first half of the mixer, DanceATL invited attendees to dance and participate in National Water Dance. This national movement event highlights climate change and local water issues. At the mixer, participants learned the opening and closing phrase for the April 18 performance.
Later on, attendees were encouraged to network with other professionals in Atlanta dance, and encouraged to bring business cards, flyers, unwanted dance clothes, and a yummy snack to share with the community.
There was also time for sharing work with one another in our elevator pitch forum! Participants were invited to angage in a 2-minute talk about what they were up to this year. Whether it was celebrating a recent performance, announcing an upcoming one, sharing collaborative interest, or admitting some challenges. This encouraging activity was a blast!
