Lanie Allen

Go-to coffee shop order: Iced chai latte with cinnamon powder

Lanie Allen (she/her) is a recent alumni of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Dance, as well as minors in business and theatre. While heavily involved in the dance community at UNL, Lanie performed in faculty, peer, and guest artist modern dance pieces. She also created three student choreography dance works, two of which were chosen for special recognitions and presentations. After graduation, Lanie relocated to Newnan, Georgia. She is excited to continue to work within and connect to the dance community here, as well as learn new ways to advocate for dance, dancers, and artists.

Soomin Eum

Go-to coffee shop order: Iced lavender matcha latte

Soomin Eum (she/her), from Orlando, Florida, is a fourth year student at the University of Florida receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Here, she has had the opportunity to perform in faculty and student dance works, musical theatre productions, and dance films as well as choreograph showcase pieces. She has also held positions as the vice president and treasurer in a student organization, Dance in a Suitcase (DIAS), over the years. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in the arts industry with hopes of combining her passion for dance and kinesiology. She is excited to be one of the spring interns with DanceATL this year!

Rosalynd Hambrick

Rosalynd Hambrick (she/they) is a fourth-year student at Kennesaw State University working on completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance with a concentration in Modern and a minor in Music & Entertainment Business. She has been heavily involved in multiple faculty and student-led work including research projects, films, and choreographic stage work. She is using this opportunity to utilize this internship to explore more avenues that she has yet to discover and enjoy in the world of dance. Once completion of degree, she is looking forward to taking a few years off to explore the world and get involved in the unique and complex world that is professional dance. She is hoping to dance professionally for the Falcon’s Cheerleaders next year. In the meantime, she is excited to gain great knowledge while completing this spring internship with DanceATL.
