Read below to learn more about Lane Pigford, Rose Sebaugh and Stephanie Weis. We are so excited to have them join our team this semester!

Lane Pigford (she/her/hers) is a senior at Agnes Scott College pursuing a BA in Dance and English Literature. Previous to becoming an intern with DanceATL, she spent a semester abroad in Spring of 2020 studying performance training in Plymouth, England. She was born and raised in Suwanee, Georgia. Lane has been dancing consistently from age 3 to present day making that 19 years. She is currently teaching at DanceFX Atlanta. With Agnes Scott College’s Studio Dance Theatre, she also performs in bi-annual recitals. For the last two years, Lane serves as the Agnes Scott College’s Blackfriars theatre troupe’s secretary (2020-2021) and inter-organizational chair (2019-2020). Lane is ecstatic to be an intern because this will allow her to further develop herself in the Atlanta dance community.
Rose Sebaugh (she/her/hers) is a third-year Dance and Dietetics double major at the University of Georgia. Rose has choreographed and performed in the Young Choreographers Series, Spring Dance Concert, Spotlight on the Arts, in the Athens community, and at the ACDA regional conference during her time at UGA. Rose has also worked as an RA and intern with Joffrey South and Joffrey Colorado Springs in 2019 and 2020, and she is excited to use her diverse experiences to fuel her new position as an intern with DanceATL.
Stephanie Weis (she/her/hers) is a senior pursuing a BFA in Dance at the University of Georgia. She was born and raised in Suwanee, Georgia, and before she came to UGA, Stephanie trained in various styles of dance at Chambers Performing Arts. She has performed in works by Rebecca Gose, Rustin Van Katwyk, Ellen Cornfield, and numerous student choreographers. For the last two years she has performed and choreographed in her university’s student run show and even served as their Secretary (2019-2020) and Vice President (2020-2021). Stephanie is excited to be an intern because it will allow her to immerse herself in the Atlanta dance community!
