DanceATL Arts Administration Internship

The Arts Administration Intern will receive valuable hands-on experience in working for a non-profit while supporting the mission of DanceATL. This internship can be designed to address your personal interests and learn new skills in the field of Arts Administration. Platforms and software used during this internship can include: Canva, Mailchimp, WordPress, Asana, and Google Drive.

10 hours/ week, 99% remote with opportunities for in-person meetings and events
Must have access to a computer

Reports to: Operations Manager

Responsibilities:
Maintain website and social media presence
Shadow staff in meetings with Board of Directors and committees
Assist coordinating events for community programming
Maintains communication with supervisor while working remotely

Please note this list is not all-encompassing and additional tasks may be delegated in a reasonable capacity not to exceed the 10 hour commitment.

Qualifications:
Enrolled in an accredited university to receive academic credit. You can still intern without being enrolled.
Strong communication and organizational skills
Interest in dance and arts administration
Must have access to a computer and internet connection
Student-mentality, willingness to learn, high level of initiative to meet and exceed deadlines
Ability to work individually and on a team
Positive attitude

Areas of study include and are not limited to Arts Administration, Dance, Marketing, Advertising, Development, Management

Compensation: Academic credit, $100 Stipend
