Dance and choreography duo Xan Burley and Alex Springer are in residence for two weeks this fall through the Donna and Marvin Schwartz Center Artist-in-Residence Program. Join this dynamic couple for a work-in-progress showing of the piece they are creating for students in the Emory Dance Company. A discussion with the artists and students will follow the showing. Xan and Alex’s work has been presented by the most prestigious dance venues in New York City and beyond, including the American Dance Festival and Jacobs Pillow. Before attending Smith College, where they both earned their master of fine arts degrees, they danced with the highly acclaimed Doug Varone and Dancers.
