The Georgia Ballet’s fall production features the return of two audience favorites: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, a ballet inspired by Washington Irving’s spooky classic of the same name, and Carmen Suite, a fiery one-act ballet based on Bizet’s famous opera. Originally created by Alberto Alonso in 1967, Carmen Suite was restaged by artistic director Daet Rodriguez for it’s premiere with The Georgia Ballet in spring 2018.
