Spark your creativity & tap into your body’s wisdom through meditation, embodiment, & butoh! Participants will be guided through creative processes designed to cultivate creative fire, develop individual artistic expression, & support the body’s healing & integration processes. This workshop will finish with opportunities for artists to workshop existing performances or new creative work.

Ideal for dancers, actors, performance artists, musicians, writers, & anyone interested in movement & creating somatically.

Accessibility Statement:

The Windmill is about two blocks from the East Point MARTA station and there is parking at the theatre. I believe there is one small step/curb in front of the front door, but otherwise everything is on one level (I have a ramp that I believe fits if needed) and there are three non-gendered bathrooms. The floor is marley and designed for dancers, so it’s relatively gentle on the joints! In addition, Royal Tee and Frankie Mulinix (Vandellous) have experience creating modifications and adaptations for different bodies.
