Featuring choreography by Artistic Director Amy Gately and contributing artists Faith Im, Jacqueline Lopez, and Samantha Spriggs, “Shouts and Murmurs” is a collaborative concert of dance and live music.

The concert includes RTMD repertory, as well as three premiers:
“Water Passion,” which examines the beauty of water and how it influences our lives, is a serene and ritualistic moving meditation.
“Groundwork,” a duet about empathy and agency, explores the ways in which we lean on others to find our own strength.
“Inertia,” an exploration of resistance to change, traverses through calm virtuosity and playful joy to halted conflict.
“Shouts and Murmurs” is an embodiment of extremes in which the performers explore the dichotomy between restraint and unabashed release.
