We are looking for 10-12 dancers in or around the greater Atlanta metropolitan area ages 16-adult to join a dance ensemble that performs digital and stage dance content choreographed by Sharon Tranell. Dancers must be comfortable learning and performing multiple dance styles including, but not limited to African jazz, contemporary, musical theater, liturgical, and hip-hop. Rehearsals are held on Friday evenings in Chamblee, GA.

Auditions will be held via video submission from Monday, July 3 – Wednesday, July 12, 2023. Dancers must prepare and film themselves performing two 60-second dances of contrasting styles. Be sure the dancer is shown clearly for the entirety of each video. Only the first 60 seconds of any video will be reviewed for the audition, so please edit submissions if necessary. The ensemble is for dancers ages 16 , and minors must provide a signed parental waiver before participating in his/her/their first rehearsal. Callbacks for the ensemble will be held on Friday, July 14 at 7pm in Chamblee, GA.

Ensemble members will perform at the the Praise & Worship Dance Showcase in October 2023 and the Celebration of Gospel dance production in February 2024. Dancers can miss up to 2 rehearsals for any particular production, other than the dress rehearsal which is mandatory for all participants.

Rehearsals for the Praise & Worship Dance Showcase will be held weekly on Friday evenings from July 28 – September 29 in Chamblee, GA. Please check your availability before auditioning.
