This class is dedicated to the movement exploration within the framework of the repertoire of choreographer Anna Long. We engage with phrase material that challenges and enriches the dancer’s physicality, and ignites the imagination. We meet the material with focus on the clarity of physical sensation, the discipline of intention, and the individual artistic choices and interpretation. The process will involve meeting the choreographic material through the spirit of discovery, and opening up the possibilities of expression.
