This May, 13 artists will come together for a collaborative
performance of dance, music, film and spoken word. Although this performance marks the debut
of this collective, many elements of the show are over 7 years in the making. The artists include
accomplished dancers, composers, designers, animators, writers and filmmakers from around the
United States. Directed by Hannah Myers, this show will unleash us into a realm where dreams
and reality collide.
The soundscape features compositions by Taige McMahon, a Seattle based music professional.
Other auditory experiences include classics such as Mozart, Liszt, Pergolesi and several poems
written by accredited poet, Tess Bloomfield. Visually, the stage will come alive through
choreography and film produced by internationally experienced choreographer, Hannah Myers.
Additional animation and visual design of the show is created by Dr. Rebecca Siefert, a film,
architecture and art historian, illustrator and published researcher.
There will be 8 dancers in this performance including Jane Krantz of the Hartford Dance
Collective and Afterglow Studios in Hartford, CT. The remaining 7 dancers are Atlanta based
performers: Andie Knudsen, Dominique Kinsey, Kathryn Gutierrez, Jenn Klammer, Jenna
Latham, Rose Shields and Sally O’Grady, who have recently been recognized for their work
with: Dance Canvas, ALA Dance, Kit Modus, Fly on the Wall, Fuerta Dance, Bautanzt Here,
Staib Dance, Atlanta Ballet and many more.
