Renowned as the Passista and Show director at Salgueiro, Carlinhos is also the choreographer for Rio’s prestigious “King and Queen of Carnaval” competition. He holds a host of accolades to his name including Best Male Destaque, Best Male Passista and the Estandarte de Ouro for Best Passista Ala (Salgueiro) in Carnaval 2017. Carlinhos Salgueiro is unquestionably the world’s most sought after Samba icon.
