Event Details

This four-week online course is for actors, dancers, singers, artists, activists, carers, and anyone trying to develop coping skills at this time. Participants develop practical skills to manage stress, anxiety, and/or depression and build skills for resilience, mental wellbeing, and creativity.

You will,
1. Work with your body’s systems to cope with stress and move into balance and stability.
2. Learn to develop empathy and connection to others while maintaining healthy autonomy.
3. Channel the wisdom of your emotions to keep you safe, empowered, and healthy.
4. Learn about the gateways between your emotional and physical wellbeing and create habits to keep yourself performance-ready.
5. Move out of your flight/flight/freeze/fawn stress response.
6. Build your creativity and bring your creativity back online in challenging times.

When: Wednesdays, September 9 – 30 (7:00 – 9:30 pm)

Required: Internet connection, tablet/phone/laptop with camera and sound, comfortable clothes, a yoga-mat sized space

About the instructor:
Frances (Frankie) Mulinix is a voice, movement, and acting teacher as well as an Occupational Therapist who specializes in mental health, chronic pain, neurology, and occupational justice. She is a Certified Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® and trained in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Organic Intelligence, and Reiki.
