Teens Activate is Core Dance’s summer program designed for teens ages 13-18 years old. Recognizing the power in the voices of our youth, Teens Activate integrates the art forms of spoken word and movement to bring the concerns,  fears and ideas of teens into performative expression and action. Classes will be led by Spoken Word & Movement Artists: Juana Farfan, Chris James, Marcus Montgomery and Amanda Sieradzki.

Week 1: June 13 – 17th, 10am – 3:30pm (In-Person) & 1:00-3:00PM (Virtual) 

Week 2: June 20 – 24th, 10am – 3:30pm (In-Person) & 1:00-3:00PM (Virtual) 

Each week concludes with a showcase, combining In-person and Virtual participants 

In-person classes will be at Core Dance Studios on the downtown Decatur Square at 139 Sycamore St, Decatur OR Virtually via Zoom 

COST:

• In-Person Program: $250 for 2- weeks, $175 for one week 

•  Virtual Program: $100 for 2- weeks, $50 for one week
