Come out for this high energy Contemporary Dance class with Dance Canvas’ 2023 featured choreographer, Jacque Pritz. Spend the evening learning some movement from her choreographic work, ‘SueSabel’, which premiered in March at the Ferst Center for the Arts and is rooted in her ancestral research of Filipino culture and heritage. Jacque’s class is a fusion of her background in contemporary dance and martial arts. Her choreography examines the connection between her personal identity as a Filipino-American woman and the collective histories that create shared experiences between people.
