This session will address the legalities and ethical concerns of nonprofits and nonprofit workers engaged in advocacy work. How do you craft your advocacy messaging strategy to mobilize other advocates? New Georgia Project Executive Director Nse Ufot will focus on strategies and tactics that help activate people toward your cause.
  • Friday, November 13, 2020 – 1:30pm -3:00pm What Happens Now: Understanding Possibilities Following the 2020 Election and Advocacy After an Election – Free. Presented by PEN America. The 2020 election presents several possible situations that may arise immediately following the election. PEN America Director of U.S. Free Expression Programs Nora Benevidez examines what happens now, how we got here, and what opportunities exist to advocate after an election occurs.
