Did you take Ballet when you were younger? Know the basics and want to get back into it? Join us in a judgement free zone and find your inner ballerina/danseur spirit! Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet. Class will focus on basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Students will be introduced to floor work, barre, center, and across the floor work.

While this is a beginner ballet class, this is not a “Ballet 101” class. If you do not have any ballet experience, you are welcome to join the class, but please be prepared to work your way through the movements and just give it your best shot. As an adult this class will challenge you physically and mentally, and the instructor’s approach for this class is about letting your body try the movements rather than just giving up. Also, this class often uses classical as well as contemporary music during class.
