Ballet 5:8 Spring Season Master Classes are an opportunity for advanced dancers to gain insight and inspiration as they interact with Ballet 5:8’s unique style, created by Ballet 5:8 Artistic Director Julianna Slager with both Vaganova and Balanchine influences.

Attending a Spring Season Master Class is the perfect way to audition for Ballet 5:8 training programs and professional artist positions!

Attendees may elect to audition may be considered for open Ballet 5:8 professional artist contracts, and for positions in the Ballet 5:8 Trainee Program, Conservatory & Men’s Programs, Studio Company, Summer Intensive, and Collegiate Summer Intensive. Additional application information, such as letters of recommendation, is required for some positions. Applicants will be notified to submit additional information following the audition if applicable.

ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
Classical ballet attire is required.

Dancers should be at least 14 years of age and have a solid background in advanced classical ballet technique.

Women should bring pointe shoes.

Recommended: those interested in applying for professional contracts and Trainee Program positions should bring a headshot, first arabesque photo, and current resume.

REGISTRATION
Registration is required and may be completed online or in person during the pre-class registration period. The cost to register and attend is $30, payable online via credit card, or in person via cash or check.
