Event Details

This introductory access in the arts class is a three hour, online, hands-on workshop for arts organizations, administrators and event organizers with new to intermediate experience levels with disability accessibility. This session is customized for smaller organizations and teams with limited budgets.

  • Learn WHY and HOW equitable access practice benefits your art, artists, and audiences.
  • Build your audience with smart, accessible communications, outreach, and community building techniques
  • Create equitable and meaningful access for your work and performances
  • Plug in to a community of arts professionals for ongoing support, resources, and best practice development

The ALLways method is based in Kinetic Light’s research and practice and uses fundamental principles of equity and hospitality to help you learn how to create equitable accessibility for your art, events, organizations, and audiences.  Beyond any single event, ALLways participants are invited into an ongoing community of practice and resource.

ASL/CART/AD included.  We offer a sliding registration fee scale based on organization size for this event to increase financial accessibility.  Please reach out to Laurel Lawson at with any questions.  If you can’t make this workshop stay tuned for upcoming workshops throughout the year.
